If you are travelling from London and the east, then Wessex Manor is best accessed via Dorchester on the A35.
- While driving on the A35, look out for signs towards Weymouth on the A354.
- As you approach the roundabout, take the left lane onto the A354, and continue down this road for about 3 miles, climbing up the hill and underneath a bridge.
- Once you start to descend the hill, look out for a sign which will say ‘Upwey’ on your left.
- Take this turning, following the road round the left, then take a left at the T junction. Follow this road, go under the train bridge, and then take a right turning onto Elwell Street, following signs for Upwey Wishing Well & Tea Rooms.
- Travel down this narrow road, and once you get to the T junction go straight over through the entrance to Wessex Manor (it will be signposted as ‘Upwey House’).
