Directions

Please ensure that everyone travelling to Hill House has a copy of the directions with them. If using Sat Nav please enter Shipston-on-Stour as your destination then follow the directions below. The postcode will take you to a small house close to Hill House – Hill House is on the opposite side of the road, in the direction of Shipston. If using Google Local or AA Route Finder again please enter Shipston-on-Stour as the destination then follow the directions below.

From the East
Travel West on the A44. Just before Chipping Norton head straight on at the traffic lights, signed A3400. Proceed through Long Compton and into Shipston-on-Stour. As you enter the centre of town look out for a large sign on a building for Edward Sheldon Wine Shop. Just after this turn left signed B3045 Chipping Campden. Avoid the immediate right turn onto the High Street. Proceed along West Street for about 100 yards then turn right onto Darlingscote Road, where there are some bollards, signed Ilmington and Swimming Pool. Head along Darlingscote Road out of Shipston. As you pass the wooden town signs, saying Thank you for Driving Carefully, carry straight on, ignoring the farm track on your left. Proceed fairly slowly along this road as Hill House is the next house on your left. The drive is just at the brow of a hill, with green fencing on either side, and is signed Hill House.

From the North
Head onto the A3400 for Shipston-on-Stour. When you reach Shipston proceed towards the town centre, passing a sign on the right to Tilemans Lane. Shortly after this look out for a no-entry road
on your right, then take the right hand turn immediately after this, onto Telegraph Street. Head straight up Telegraph Street, passing the car park on your left. At the T-junction turn right onto Darlingscote Road. Head along Darlingscote Road out of Shipston. As you pass the wooden town signs, saying Thank you for Driving Carefully, carry straight on, ignoring the farm track on your left. Proceed fairly slowly along this road as Hill House is the next house on your left. The drive is just at the brow of a hill, with green fencing on either side, and is signed Hill House. From the South: Travel North on the A429 to Moreton-in-Marsh. Carry on up the A429 signed Warwick, Stratford. After a couple of miles you will reach a large crossroads, marked by rumble strips. Turn right signed B3045 Shipston-on-Stour, just before the red brick buildings signed Pine and Things. Carry on this road into Shipston-on-Stour. As you reach the town centre, just after the 30mph signs ignore the first left (signed Horsefair) and take the left turn immediately after this, signed Darlingscote Road. There are bollards in the middle of Darlingscote Road at this junction. Head along Darlingscote Road out of Shipston. As you pass the wooden town signs, saying Thank you for Driving Carefully, carry straight on, ignoring the farm track on your left. Proceed fairly slowly along this road as Hill House is the next house on your left. The drive is just at the brow of a hill, with green fencing on either side, and is signed Hill House.

From the West
Travel East to Moreton-in-Marsh, turn left onto the A429, and then follow directions From the South

Alternatively, travel East to Stratford-upon-Avon, pick up the A3400 to Shipston-on-Stour, and then follow directions From the North.
