Arriving by Car
From Manchester
Leave Manchester on the A6, following signs for Stockport and then Buxton. When you reach Buxton, follow the A6 through the town as it becomes the A53. The town has a series of four roundabouts, you’ll need to take the 2nd exit, then the 3rd exit, then the 2nd exit, then the 1st exit. This should take you onto Terrace Road/the A515. Continue on as it becomes The High Street, then London Road and Ashbourne Road. Follow the A515 towards Ashbourne until you reach the town. At the T junction in Ashbourne, turn left onto St. John’s Street, then take the next right onto Park Road. At the end of Park Road, turn right onto Sturston Road/the A515. When you get to a pair of roundabouts, take the 2nd exit and and then the 3rd exit onto the A52. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit to continue on the A52. Follow the A52 across the river and the drive to Birdsgrove should be about 150m ahead, on your right.
From Sheffield
Leave Sheffield on the A625 and follow it as far as Calver, where it becomes the B6001. Continue on along the B6001 until you get to Bakewell. At the end of the road, turn right onto the A619 and follow it through the town. When you reach a roundabout, take the 1st exit and then immediately turn right onto King Street/the B5055. Follow the road through Monyash, then turn left onto the A515 when you see the sign for Ashbourne. Follow the A515 towards Ashbourne until you reach the town. At the T junction in Ashbourne, turn left onto St. John’s Street, then take the next right onto Park Road. At the end of Park Road, turn right onto Sturston Road/the A515. When you get to a pair of roundabouts, take the 2nd exit and and then the 3rd exit onto the A52. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit to continue on the A52. Follow the A52 across the River Dove and the drive to Birdsgrove House should be about 150m ahead, on your right.
From Derby
Leave Derby on the A52 and follow it to Ashbourne. Continue to follow the A52 past Ashbourne, following signs for Leek. Shortly after passing Ashbourne, you should cross the River Dove. The drive to Birdsgrove House should then be about 150m ahead, on your right.
From Stoke-on-Trent
Leave Stoke-on-Trent on the A50, following signs for Ashbourne. Follow the A50 until you get to the roundabout at Uttoxeter, then take the 1st exit onto the B5030. Keep on following signs to Ashbourne, continuing onto the B5032. When you reach the end of the road, at Mayfield, turn left onto the A52, going towards Stoke and Leek. The drive for the house should be about 150m ahead of you, on your right.
