Apples, Cider and Cheddar Cheese (named after a small town in the Mendip Hills) are what Somerset is most famous for. Now also the county of ‘Butcombe Beer’, the fastest selling bottled beer in the UK, as well as Thatchers produced in Sandford for over a hundred years. For the dairy lovers, ‘Capricorn Somerset Goats Cheese’ from The Lubborn Creamery situated in the beautiful valley of Cricket St Thomas and Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company, one of the only places in the country where Cheddar Cheese is still made by hand.

Why not try a Somerset cream tea with home made scones, farmhouse clotted cream and Whortleberry jam, which is unique to the Exmoor area.

Langford
Olly uses classic French techniques in his cooking alongside modern technology to create refined but wholesome food. The menu is set monthly but evolves during that time depending on suppliers and what the garden yields. All dishes and accompaniments are cooked from scratch.
